		<description>Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem

Hey guys, quick coupla points in relation to ramadhaan insha'Allah:

a) if you're someone who neglects their fardh salaah [Fajr, Dhuhr, 'Asr, Maghrib &#38; Ishaa] - DROP EVERYTHING ELSE and focus on your fardh [obligatory] prayer first insha'Allah. You gotta get your prayer in order first, and then everything else can slowly come into place with the help of Allah.

b) ^^^ Applies to the taraweeh fans too! Taraweeh is from the sunnah, as is qiyaam ul layl [night prayer]. If you're the kinda ppl who exhaust yourselves in taraweeh/tahajjud and then struggle to make Fajr: SORT IT OUT! Fajr is fardh!!!

For real, i get that it's ramadhaan and these are additional acts that are veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy praiseworthy and from the sunnah...but the fact is, a lota ppl [boys] head out for taraweeh, gain little from the congregation except exhaustion and boredom, and then look forward to the after-party of burger n chips with the lads.. get home, kick back...and wind up neglecting Fajr =/

Sorry, i'm not generalising and sayin this is the status quo across the board for brothers [or sisters], but we all know it happens. So you gotta ask yourselves where your heart is when you're performing these acts of ibaadah [worship]. At the end of the day, Allah is not in need of your worship, YOU are...so do it some justice insha'Allah.

Sheikh 'Abdullah Azzam [rahimahullah] says that your heart is the pillar of your worship, and he goes on to say about the prayer: "The prayer is heavy, because one's legs and hands are not what get up for the prayer. What gets up for the prayer are the heart and the soul...Because of this, it is the heart that stands up for worship. The limbs are simply slaves of this heart, carrying out what it commands them. If the heart is alive, then the soul will be alive, and worship will become beloved..."

So in any act of worship, find out where your heart is, and if it aint where it's meanta be, slap it into place!

c) I say all ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ to me before I say it to any of you. honestly honestly honestly! And we ask Allah to make us sincere and to aid us in our worship of Him. Ameen.

d) Finally, beautiful quote about Ramadhaan:

'Abu 'Abd ar-Rahman as-Sulami said just before his death:

"How could I not hope [for good] from my Lord when I have fasted eighty Ramadans for His sake?"' Subhan'Allah!

skafe, thats evrythin [i think]
assalaam =)

p.s - hope i dnt ofend any1. if i did then ur too sensitive! no, well yeah, bt forgive me insha'allah...i dnt have the deeds to give away =(</description>
