Y’all Need Schlaaps!!

So how bout sum1 come over there and give you one big fat schlaap?! not on the face, coz i dnt believe in striking on the face, bt i duno, maybe like a gud whack round the head? Sound good? No?!What man you kiddin me?!!

ask y’all to sign up to ISoc and pay £3 and you can’t be bothered. ask y’all if you want tumps for freee and you still don’t wanna no?! what pleases u ppl?! ok, before u start peltin ur verbal tomatoes at my brash manner, lemme do u the honour of makin u realise wot a stank person u really are =)

so it’s brought to my attention that out of the 300 REQUIRED signatures on SU website[www.culsu.co.uk], they’ve gotten a grand total of about 30. that’s pathetic. inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’oon! so ima give you some home truths abt this ISoc shabang, and Allah willing, maybe that’ll help you get yourself in2 gear n sign up..

ok guys, here’s the thing. u no these ppl? u no, the regular bunch of beards/jilbaabs u see everytime u wlk in2 the prayer room? c’mon, wethr ur a once a wk, thrice a wk or daily visitor, u musssssssst notice the lame bunch that seems to be rotting away in there right? [yeah dont wory, i like em less than u! heck i dnt evn think dey go home 2 shower!!] bt u no, irrespective of how smelly they are, they’re always there whenever u need anythin. believe me, anythin u eva eva eva need? they’ll be there to help. and if they cant help, they’ll find sum1 who can. they’re there if u need help wid ur acadmic stuf, personal stuff, if u need sum1 2 get sum grub wid, if u jus wna sit arnd and be a lazy so & so - whatever it is - they’re always around 2 give u a helping hand.

further, they’re there to help u in ur deen. they encourage u 2 fast, and if u dnt fast, they’ll still ask u 2 eat wid dem. they provide courses for u in fiqh [islamic jurisprudence], hadeeth [prophetic traditions], tafseer [commentary/explanation of qur'aan [exegesis]], marriage [ahem! i see how dat caught ur eye!!]. but 4 real, a single one of those courses at any institution wud easily cost u £50+. yet they provide all that for free. this is alll in addition to deadlines they have just like u, jobs they have just like u, families and non-uni existences they have just like u. but they do everythin they can to make ur time at uni the best it can be for u as muslims. masha’allah walhamdulillah.

but this isn’t about them, coz they dnt do any of this seeking praise or honour amongst the ppl - they do it to please allah. they do it becoz they love for u wot they love for themselves, and wot they love for themselves is the Hereafter. They want paradise for themselves and paradise for u, so they do the best they can to make prominent the Religion of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger [saw] in a place full of filth, corruption and devils waiting to misguide u. and may allah reward them, and may allah reward each of u, ameen.

el problemo is, we live in a bureaucratic society, governed by all this “official” stuff. and that’s precisely wot this is. because in truth, with the help and blessings of Allah, the provisions of Iftaar, Islamic courses, hijabs and a prayer room for prayer will never cease - with or without ur signing up. BUT U NEEEEEEEEEEEED TO SIGN UP as part of the small print the ISoc is kinda bound by. And really, like really really, if ur £3 is a problem financially - u’ll get it back insha’Allah.

BUT FOR NOW U LAZY, LAME BUNCH WHO CAN READILY SPEND HOURS INTERNET SHOPPIN & MSN’ING - SORT IT OUT & BLIMMIN SIGN UP. NOW! [please?] OTHERWISE IMA FIND U & REALLY GIVE U THE SCHLAAP UR ASKING 4!
