I begin with the Name of Allaah, the most Merciful, the One Who bestows Mercy
We will update this section to bring you a list of ongoing courses around London inshaaAllaah.
If you know of any FREE ongoing courses - male or female -, please leave us a message in any of the posts and with links etc. and we will put it up inshaaAllaah after a quick background check.
At City ISoc we do not tolerate any extremist courses that are against the Qur’aan and Sunnah. Zero tolerance.
Do not prevent your fellow Muslims from attending and learning in your classes. Knowledge is from Allaah and nobody has the right to prevent it from reaching others regardless of who they may be.
If you want to post private courses, then please get permission of the organizer/teacher before posting the course (especially sisters).
When attending any course or event, please make sure you know where you are going and you get permission, and if you are a minor then take a supervising adult with you. As for sisters, please attend these courses/events with your mahram, if the course/event is out of the travelling limit. Don’t stay out too late.
All praise is for Allaah.

BarakaAllaahu feek…yes it is
Is it known if these courses are usually recorded and available?
Wednesday’s Umdatul Fiqh :
http://www.lewishamislamiccentre.com/media/islamic-law
zaad al-ma’ad videos can be found on youtube…
http://www.youtube.com/mrdfuk
JazakAllaahu Khayr.
I was referring to the December one’s, and in particularly the ‘Islaamic Ethics and Mannerism/Characteristics of a Muslim’. Is there anyway to find out if it will be recorded?
It should be recorded and they will put it up in the same website inshaaAllaah… maybe look it up one week after the course begins.
Today’s first lesson on Adab Shar’eeyah has been uploaded on the LKIC site:
http://www.lewishamislamiccentre.com/media/adab
a MUST ! ! !
Please do not miss out on this course !
It starts on the 7th of April 2010 … so plenty of time to get rid off the “i am busy” excuses and fit it into your non-existent, non-busy timetable.
For those who want to get a head start… there is a collection of a class on this very same book available online, by Ustaadh Abu Talha.
Maybe just listen to these tapes when you are on the bus, train, walking, sleeping … then come April, start taking notes in the live class with Ustaadh Abu Hanfeefah and you will start reminiscing whatever you heard now and you will understand even better…
“an opportunity not to be missed!”
